Embodied Movement sessions are designed for those wanting to develop a deeper, moment-to-moment understanding of their body through an exploration of movement, conversation, and embodied listening.
My approach to movement and embodiment is trauma-aware and mental-health-informed, grounded in the understanding that you are the expert of your own experience. I work within a collaborative framework, where together we explore and develop movements, practices, and inquiries that support a deepening relationship with yourself.
Because every body and lived experience is different, the way you explore movement, practice, and pace will be entirely unique, shaped not only by your interests, but also by how you wish to meet the intention of self-connection and what that may look like for you.

These sessions can look completely different for each person, but they may include:
Trauma-aware yoga & breathwork
Mindful movement and stretching
Exploration of movement patterns and sensation
Somatic movement and embodied listening
Simple practices to resource and regulate
Psychoeducation around stress, activation, and ease
Embodied conversation and shared inquiry
All of this happens within a supportive container that encourages you to connect with, and listen to, your body as a source of wisdom.
I'm really looking forward to creating this with you.
Please note: Embodied Movement is not a replacement for therapy, although you may like to use these sessions alongside a therapist.
How is an Embodied Movement session different from a yoga class?
In an Embodied Movement session, there's no predetermined sequence, no pose to achieve, nothing to get right or wrong. We begin with where you are that day and let that shape what we explore together — through movement, conversation, and collaborative inquiry.
If yoga has ever felt like something you do to your body, this is an invitation to do it with your body.
What happens in a first session?
This is our opportunity to get to know each other and for me to better understand what brings you to Embodied Movement. The aim isn't to "do" much but to begin listening together. This might include a simple body-based practice, a discussion around the structure of our time together and will almost always end with a period of supported rest.
Do you offer financially assisted pricing?
Yes, there is an option to book a Financial Support session, no questions asked. If you would like to chat more, please reach out, and regardless of your situation, I’d love to talk through options.
What's your cancellation policy?
Life happens, I get it. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give me 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may incur the full session fee, as this time has been reserved especially for you. I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, so please feel free to get in touch if this is the case.
If you still have questions or would like to get a better sense of whether this space is right for you, book a free 15-minute discovery call through Mellow.
